Cabling demo
At the Executive Briefing Center the winners received a demo on Cisco's new Long
Range Ethernet (LRE) products, which can transmit data over virtually any
cable, even barbed wire!
Learning how Cisco positions its products and solutions to the service providers
was a treat for the students.

Next they headed to meet with the cable modem groups. There they learned how a
cable provider provisions cable to home users and how Cisco is playing a role
to provide voice and data solutions over cable networks. Just before lunch the
group met and chatted with Keith Fox, V.P. of Marketing, and Kevin Warner,
Director of Education.
